1. Your account

• You must provide accurate information at registration and keep it current.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• One account per person. Sharing, selling, or transferring login credentials is prohibited.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or have parental/guardian consent where required by your jurisdiction.

2. License to use the Service

Upon activation of a paid account, KoinCad grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own professional or educational purposes, for the duration of your active subscription or licence.

This is a licence to use the Service. It is not a sale of software, and you do not acquire ownership of any part of KoinCad.

3. No-refund policy (important)

Because purchasing access to KoinCad grants you immediate access to the application's proprietary calculation engine, parametric generators, export functions, and underlying source code through your authenticated session, the full value of the Service is delivered and irreversibly received the moment your account is activated. For this reason:

• There are no refunds, in whole or in part, for any payment made.
• No refund will be issued for unused subscription time, cancellation, dissatisfaction, or accidental purchase.
• It is your responsibility to evaluate whether the Service meets your needs before purchasing. We encourage you to review the documentation and request a trial if available.
• Chargebacks initiated in bad faith (where the Service was used) will be treated as a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

By completing a payment you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this no-refund policy.

4. Code access & reverse engineering

• KoinCad, including its source code, calculation engine, export functions, parametric generators, user interface, design, and documentation, is the proprietary property of KoinCad and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
• You may not copy, redistribute, sublicense, modify, host, re-sell, or create derivative works from any part of KoinCad.
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, de-obfuscate, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the limited extent applicable law expressly prohibits such a restriction.
• You may not scrape, scrape-mirror, extract data, or build automated tools that query the Service beyond its intended interactive use.
• Any code, technique, or output obtained in violation of this clause remains the property of KoinCad and must be deleted immediately.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or the underlying systems.
• Interfere with or overload the Service (denial of service, abuse of the scripting engine, excessive API calls).
• Upload malicious scripts via the scripting interface.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the drawings and calculations you create. You grant KoinCad no licence to your content beyond what is necessary to operate the Service (e.g. processing exports and calculations you explicitly request). Your drawings are stored in your browser and are not accessed, reviewed, or claimed by KoinCad.

7. Payments & billing

• Access is granted via monthly or annual subscription. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page.
• Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), which is the legal seller of record for all purchases and handles VAT calculation, collection, and remittance for your country.
• Prices are as displayed at the time of purchase (in euros, exclusive of VAT; VAT is added at checkout based on your country). We may change pricing for future purchases.
• Subscription access continues until expiry or cancellation. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund prior payments.
• All payments are strictly non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for full details.

8. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any feature) at any time. Maintenance, updates, and outages may occur. We are not liable for any loss arising from service unavailability.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

KoinCad is an engineering drafting and calculation aid. It is not a substitute for professional engineering judgement. Outputs (dimensions, calculations, drawings) must be independently verified by a qualified professional. We make no warranties as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or merchantability. Use of any output is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KoinCad and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to KoinCad in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

11. Account termination

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without refund, if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in fraud. Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ends and you must cease all use.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Athens, Greece, unless you are a consumer with mandatory rights to your local jurisdiction. EU consumer rights are not waived by these Terms where non-waivable by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes (especially to pricing, refunds, or your obligations) will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
